Another way to help you on this challenge is to have a daily smoothie.
Smoothies are such a brilliant way of getting all your nutrients in in one yummy hit. You can consume loads of antioxidants, fibre, minerals and vitamins all before 10am! If you’re feeling like it’s a little chilly for a morning smoothie be sure to have with sips of hot tea or add some eternally warming spices like ginger to it.
Ingredients: 1 spotty ripe banana, 1 cup fresh or frozen berries, 2 cup fresh spinach leaves, ½ cup of frozen courgette, 1 medjool date, 3 brazil nuts, 1 tsp. Spirulina powder, 1 tbsp. ground flax meal, 1 tsp. maca powder, 1 cup water or raw organic coconut water (for extra hydration!)
Method: Blend on high in your vitamix/nutri bullet.
1 frozen banana, ½ cauliflower roughly chopped and frozen, 1 cup of spinach leaves, ½ cup kale, ¼ avocado, 1 cup of mango, 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened), 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 small knob of peeled ginger.
