Post Run Recovery

Nutri Advanced Ultra Meal – this is the protein source, I really love this one by nutri, I used 3x scoops of this which is 22.6 grams of protein perfect for helping my tried an sore little muscles recover.

Nutri Advanced Ultra Inflammax – this is a powder with a mix of ginger, turmeric and rosemary which helps with any inflammation in the body to restore its natural balance. This also has an array of vitamins and minerals which is great for me as I’ve probably depleted lots from my long run.

Nutrifii Restoriix – This has some great ingredients in it like activated charcoal, micronized zeolite, and chlorella which helps to eliminate toxic elements and restore your body’s ability to absorb and utilise nutrients. These ingredients are lovely as well as nutrient-dense. Restoriix attracts and removes free radicals and unwanted substances from the body and helps restore the body’s pH levels. When we train we create a lot of free radicals this particular product is great at mopping them up.

Lecithin – The lubrication provided by lecithin creates a slippery lining on which it is difficult for large fatty deposits to adhere. When large deposits of fat cannot adhere to specific regions of the body, they are transported to the liver where they are metabolized and converted to energy. It also supports your liver in helping get rid of any toxins. I have use the higher nature one here.

Nutrifii Moa – A powerful antioxidant, super important for recovery, a supply of a variety of vitamins and minerals and to help get rid of toxins and any free radicals floating around.

Maca Powder – Maca is rich in vitamin B vitamins, C, and E. It provides plenty of calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and amino acids. I use this to restore my energy levels.

Naturya Blends Organic Greens – This gives you a healthy hit of vitamins B12, C, and E plus iron and zinc. Also this is packed with protein, dietary fibre and an energy booster.

Cacao – Potassium, magnesium which are vital electrolytes that need replacing after a long run – it also tastes nice and has antioxidant properties and some iron which is great for the oxygenation of the blood.

And that is what goes into my post run shake!
