Harissa Hummus - serves 4
- 3 small cloves roasted garlic (optional - can use normal)
- 400g chickpeas drained & rinsed
- 1 tsp himalayan salt
- ¼ cup tahini
- 1-2 lemons
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 - 2 tbsp harissa
If you can be bothered or can get hold of, use roasted garlic simply put the bulb in the oven for 15 mins on 180 - the flavour is amazing!
Simply add all the ingredients, squeeze the lemons and blend until smooth. You may need to add more lemon or seasoning according to your taste! Pair with any crudite, cracker, rice cake or a dressing in a salad!
