Avocado & Pea Pesto

This is a lovely nutrient dense snack or addition to any meal! Full of good fats which we need to help plump the skin our cells membranes need essential fatty acids to make the skin glow. Good fast are also protective for us and our cells, helping to reduce inflammation.

Green peas are little powerhouses they have an array of vitamins and minerals including vitamin c and k and are wonderful for regulating bloody sugar levels. There is also some basil in this recipe which is also anti-inflammatory, good for the gut and has some immune supporting antioxidants. Topped off with lime juice/zest which is alkalising, a great digestive aid and full of vitamin c.
